The
William F. Boynton Memorial 5K Run/Walk:
January
30, 2010 6:15 a.m.
A memorial service highlignts the contributions of Coach Boyntn, there will
also be a cutting of ribbon cermony. The
5K race begins promptly at 7:00 a.m.
The Gospel Extravaganza:
February 6, 2010 at
6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location:
Hopewell Baptist Church, and will feature top gospel acts from all
over the country, as well as local groups.
Black Tie Gala:
February 13, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.
– 12 midnight will be held at the Marriot North. We will be celebrating
and honoring thirty-two Men of Honor. Men who have had a positive
influence in their community.This
black-tie event will be a tribute to Community involvement, tapping students
from the high schools to act as Hosts and Hostesses, earning service
hours necessary for graduation.
The Street Festival:
February 20, 2010 at 10: a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Vendor
setup begins at 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. it's Community at it's best! Vendor
booths, church
groups, Kid's World...and headlining entertainment - The Masters of Funk,
featuring The BarKays and other nationally known artist. You do not want
to miss this event.
The Theatrical Performance: "Watch Your Choices:"
February 26, 2010
at 7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.
E.Pat Larkins‘ Center, presenting an inspirational
play about how our choices affect our future. The play was written
by James Dale of Real Play Productions and features local actors and technicians.
We saved the best for last, after all events have come to an end, the
Tiger Trail Committee will make donations to local youth, church and service
groups.
